iEFIS: Installing Custom Screen Designs

When installing Custom Screen Designs that may have been sent to you in a Zipfile, follow these instructions

Instructions:

• Save Zipfile to PC

• Unzip file and save contents of file to folder on PC

• Copy all FILES from this folder and paste onto SD card root (do not create folder on SD card - files are copied directly to SD card)

• Insert SD card in EFIS and press MENU > INSTALL TASKS > INSTALL SCREEN FILES TO SCREENS FOLDER

• Done!


Then, go into MENU > SYSTEM SETUP MENU > STANDARD SYSTEM SELECTIONS 

And make sure that under each of the 4 Individual screen custom enables at the bottom (Flight, Engine, Fuel, Info):




...that all of the screens are setup to use Custom screens in screens folder like this:



Repeat this for Engine, Fuel and Info.


Note: if you are using Default Standard Screen files, follow these instructions to setup for your engine.
