In all MGL Avionics instruments (except iEFIS), including Velocity Singles and Infinity Singles and all RDAC connections for MGL Avionics Enigma, Odyssey and Voyager EFISs, the following rules apply regarding the order in which EGT and CHT probes are connected:
Rule 1: EGTs go first (all in a row)
Rule 2: CHTs go next (all in a row)
Rule 3: No gaps. Don't leave spaces between EGTs and CHTs when connecting to device.
Examples:
If you have 1 EGT and 1 CHT:
TC Channel 1: EGT
TC Channel 2: CHT
If you have 2 EGTs and 2 CHTs:
TC Channel 1: EGT
TC Channel 2: EGT
TC Channel 3: CHT
TC Channel 4: CHT
If you have 4 EGTs and 4 CHTs:
TC Channel 1: EGT
TC Channel 2: EGT
TC Channel 3: EGT
TC Channel 4: EGT
TC Channel 5: CHT
TC Channel 6: CHT
TC Channel 7: CHT
TC Channel 8: CHT
If you have 1 EGTs and 4 CHTs:
TC Channel 1: EGT
TC Channel 2: CHT
TC Channel 3: CHT
TC Channel 4: CHT
TC Channel 5: CHT
Etc...
For iEFIS, you can put them in another order (EGT or CHT first), as long as you connect them to the RDAC in banks
