Connecting the New-Style Rotax 912 Oil Pressure Sensor to the EFIS
Attached is the manual for connecting the New-Style Rotax 912 Oil Pressure Sensor to the XTreme, Enigma, Voyager or Odyssey EFIS. This sensor is made by Honeywell.
Note: when using the RDAC XF, you do not need to install the 100 ohm resistor - you just turn the RDAC Oil P PD (pull down) dipswitch into the ON position, which connects the input to Ground via a 100 ohm resistor.
NOTE: In mid 2013 Rotax introduced new oil pressure sensor by Keller. It has the same 4-20mA output and wiring of the Honeywell sender, but is sometimes delivered without the connector terminated
:
Pin A – Not connected
Pin B – Connected to positive bus 8 – 28 volts, use fuse or circuit breaker
Pin C – Output signal is to be connected to the instrument
