NOTICE 08/30/2021 - ATTENTION MGL CUSTOMERS: Michigan Avionics is excited to announce that the US Navidata is once again being updated and is available for download! Also, the FAA has recently started publishing VFR sectionals on a 56-day basis instead of a 6-month basis. As such, we are looking into moving from a once-yearly update schedule to a more frequent update schedule. Due to popular demand, Alaskan and Hawaiian charts are being processed for eventual inclusion into our update cycles

Caution: MGL Databases are provided free-of-charge and without warranty to accuracy or completeness. We do not offer these databases as a replacement for up to date sectional charts or chart supplements. We highly recommend our customers purchase paper copies or use EFB-downloaded copies for flight-planning and enroute use. Our databases are for reference only.

Click here for the Dropbox folder that contains the navidata.ewd file and place onto the root (base) directory of a microSD (or SD on XTreme) card. XTreme EFIS will use this file immediately with no installation. iEFIS users will need to press MENU -> Install Tasks -> Install NaviData database(s)

Navidata is compatible with all Odyssey and Voyager Gen 1 and 2 products with latest software versions and all iEFIS and XTreme products
Obstacle data is availably only on Gen2 hardware and up

Raster Maps (FAA VFR Charts, Updated Periodically) (iEFIS and Oddysey/Voyager G2):

Click here for the Dropbox folder that contains the .MAP Files and a ZIP file to upload to your EFIS unit. Current and previous updates are available.

Map data is compatible with all iEFIS and G2 Odyssey/Voyager products.

To install these on iEFIS, place the .MAP files on a blank SD card and install the card in the EFIS. Go to Menu -> File Manager -> Log to SD/MMC Card -> Select ALL -> Copy>SSD -> "MAPS" folder

Installation will take roughly 20 minutes.

Terrain Data (Gen 3 EFIS):

Terrain data is installed on every iEFIS from the factory however you may find the need to reinstall it. Download the "G3 EFIS Terrain.zip" file (over 2GB, this may take a while) and extract the contents onto the root (base) directory of a microSD card. On iEFIS, press MENU -> System Setup Menu -> Page Down all the way and find "System Basic Setup Functions" -> Install terrain data files
